Evaluates The Best Car Buying Guides on the Internet.

Hey, Lea Iccocca here: Don't get me confused with Lee Iacocca even though our names look very similar. We do share one thing in common...We've both been in the car business for a long long time. My last name is pronounced I-coke-ah.

I'm currently retired from a 30 + year run in the car business. I've owned dealerships from domestic to foreign and have successfully run all departments in a new car franchise. I spend my time now surfing the internet for the best car buying information available. It's amazing how much junk is out there about buying and selling vehicles.

There are several sites that offer "free" information which like anything else...you get what you pay for. And if you've seen one free site then you've seen them all. After the free sites, you get into the segment of purchasing e-books or ezines. This is where you can run into some very tricky territory.

Buying new and used vehicles is a big decision. It's usually the second biggest purchase you'll make next to your home. If you're like most people, you want to get the best possible deal with the least amount of aggravation. It's amazing how many people still get taken for a ride from their local car dealer.

Here's The Problem...

The internet has so much information about buying and selling new and used cars and trucks. That might sound like a good thing but the fact of the matter is this...Where does the information come from? I've looked at info products from an assortment of people. Most of them weren't even in the car business! Some of them sold cars for a few months and declared themselves experts in the business. Buying information from someone that has no experience in the car business would be like going in for brain surgery and finding out that your surgeons experience was staying at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

And this is the exact reason why a few weeks ago, (and after continually being asked to do so for 2 years!) I decided to strip down 2 of the most popular 'car buying information guides/e-books' products to see which ones actually delivers!

What Happened...

Like I said...there is a plethora of car buying information on the internet. The truth is, most of it is old and out dated. The car business is a fast changing industry and most of the products out there are plainly outdated. And then you have the stuff that you can tell someone copied and pasted from one of the free car buying sites that have generic-not much value-type of information. The two products below are fairly new and both claim substantial savings on buying your next vehicle. I've purchased and read both books and neither are real cheep.

Here's an overview of both... and make sure you read my conclusion at the end...

"The Bottom Line"

Let's begin with the newest car buying info product that's called "The Bottom Line."  The book is a little different than your standard book or e-book. The information was derived from a two day interview with one of my contemporaries John Goodrich.

John has well over 30 years experience in the car business and someone that I would classify as an expert in any related subject relating to car buying or any kind of car buying information.

After only reading a few pages of this book, it was  immediately apparent that this is the "real deal" in up to the minute car buying information

From one car guy to another, this book is a no brainer if you're looking for a complete guide of the car buying process. It covers every aspect of buying and selling a new or used vehicle.

I had actually heard good things about "The Bottom Line" but I was thinking that it was going to be another run of the mill info product. Like I said...there is so much of the same ole, same ole car buying information on the internet.

This book is almost 150 pages and yet it only has 6 chapters. There is no fluff at all! It's jammed packed with some of the best car buying techniques that money can buy. It reveals information and secrets that's not found in any other car buying guide. It has exclusive one of a kind information that you just can't find online or off line for that matter. You would have to know someone high up in the car business to obtain some of the information in this book.

Unfortunately I can't divulge very much about the exact nature of the material right here (I asked but was not allowed!)..... however, what I can and will tell you is this: It' the real deal!

The other thing I just want to mention is this free bonus material you also get when you purchase "The Bottom Line." This is what really separates this product from anything else. In fact, some of the bonus material is confidential dealer only information. I wouldn't be surprised if this web site get's shut down for giving away propriety information.

This is unbelievable information that you can use immediately to save  money with on your next vehicle purchase. It's simple to follow and you can jump around to whatever area of interest you are looking for.

Overall the 'The Bottom Line' is a excellent car buying information product. Out of all the car info products, this is a great investment... the best out of the 20 + products I've evaluated and I recommend it.

...and you can see my conclusions below...

"TopSecretCarSecret"

When I first saw the TopSecretCarSecret
website, I must confess I thought 'here we go..., yet another so-called Internet Car buying expert promising unrealistic results' ...and usually I would've avoided this kinda' thing like the plague.

However, because the whole point of my research was to end all speculation and to find the best 'car buying info product' on the net, I just went ahead and purchased the book for $97.

The web site is very captivating. The color's, the font's and the graphics are very well put together. You get this feeling that you're about to save a ton of money on your next vehicle purchase. There are several testimonials from what looks like satisfied customers.

However, once you start reading the information that's on the web site, you start to get the feeling that this is a book for people that are looking to purchase vehicles that are $75,000 and up.

Several of the examples are of people that purchased vehicles in excess of $100,000. And how many people in this day and age are looking to purchase the ultra high end vehicles? You're right...not very many.

The book claims that you can save anywhere from 50% all the way up to 90% off. That's a pretty outrageous clam when you think about it. And if you do a little calculation, it sounds like it's "too good to be true." Up to 90% off would mean you could buy a $10,000 vehicle for $1,000. I don't think so!

As I read this book I kept waiting for the big secret. But to be honest, I knew from my own experience that there really wasn't this great car buying secret. The book was written by a Dr. Suzanne that has written some other info type e-book products.

I don't think she spent too much time in a car dealership to gain any special knowledge. The book was primarily about leasing. In fact, most of the content in the book had to do with leasing a new automobile. Leasing at this point in the car buying game is almost non-existent.

There were some other car buying tips, but nothing earth shattering. The book has some great graphics and does have an eye appealing affect but it falls way short of top quality car buying information.

And, there aren't any tangible bonus' with the book either. You're paying $97 for a lot of well put together graphics. For someone that doesn't know anything about buying a vehicle, this could be a good starting point if you didn't have to pay so much for the product.

The Conclusion...?
If this were a heavyweight fight between the top two contenders, then this was a total miss-match. Topsecretcarsecret would have gotten knocked out within the first minute and would have been carried off in a stretcher. "The Bottom Line" is light years ahead of the competition. The information comes from an industry veteran that uncovers every trick, every secret, and every sleight of hand technique car dealers use to surgically remove your money from your wallet. And when you factor in all 9 of the bonus' then this is truly a no brainer.

Don't get me wrong, Topsecretcarsecret is very entertaining and is interesting to read. But it's mostly fluff that's written by someone who never sold a car in her life much less worked in a car dealership. And for $97 it's just not worth it.

So that's it. If you want the best value in the full spectrum of car buying information that will give you all the tips and tricks on buying that new or used vehicle of your choice than you need to check out "The Bottom Line."

"And they even have a way for you to test out their knowledge absolutely free.
